Decorating HELP HELP HELP!!!! Kitchen question?
I am in the middle of remodeling my kitchen. we are painting the cabinets black, with stainless steel appliances. We have had Quartz counter tops installed in the color Diana Pearl. Here is a link to view the color

My question is I really am stuck on my back splash, Any travertine I find has a gold color in it and that just doesn't go in my opinion with all the silver we have. I would really like to incorporate a little color with the back splash (or a lot)...the only color I really like is blue...sometimes green. Please if anyone has this counter top with a back splash and would send pics that would be great or has any suggestions!!! Thanks!!!
in person there is actually no gold...sorry if the pic shows that, but it is the best pic i could find 
I think the gold would go if it's muted, because the countertop has some gold in it. Stainless steel appliances have become somewhat of a neutral, so don't worry about using gold with the stainless as long as you have the counter to pull it together. Otherwise, how about a muted copper color...or sage?
Here's a link with some fun backsplash ideas. If you scroll down to the blue bathroom wall...that color might work if the tone is right...or the next one with the sage in the cut out over the range.
